Lori, your comment intrigued me so I checked eBird to see how many warbler species come through your county in Oklahoma. I was surprised to find out that you have so few! It’s only showing nine species that come through there all year long. Up here in my county of Ohio we have 39 species of warbler! So it’s no wonder you don’t see many of them.

Thanks, Emma. Yes, he’s a gorgeous bird. Yellow is a prominent color on many warbler species for some reason.

Thanks for that information. I just thought I had the bad luck of not spotting them! I wonder if it will be during migration that we see them more?
